It's Time for an August Rundown!

Hey y’all! We have SO MANY exciting things on the calendar this month, and we can’t wait to share them all with you. To keep you up to date, here’s a rundown of what’s happening in the next few weeks at Hidden Valley Orchards!

WEEKLY EVENTS

As always, we’ll be hosting our weekly SINGO nights on WEDNESDAYS at 7:00pm. If you love music AND bingo, make sure to come on out! Burger & Trivia Nights happen on THURSDAYS at 7:00pm. We’ll have mouthwatering top-your-own burgers and some challenging trivia for all the folks out there, so don’t miss it! 

Every weekend, we host LIVE MUSIC on FRIDAY (6:30-9:30pm), SATURDAY (6:30-9:30pm), and SUNDAY (1:00-4:00pm)! You’ll have an opportunity to listen to a variety of bands and a range of styles. Who knows? You might just find yourself a new favorite local group—so make sure to join us! 

SPECIAL EVENTS

HVO will be hosting a Wine-Tasting event where you can savor a selection of fine wines paired with great company featuring Chateau Ste. Michelle! Snag tickets for the August 1 event here:

Next up, we’ll be holding a Flower Press Workshop in collaboration with Oak & Ember Farms on August 7! At this event, you will create your own flower press, handpick an assortment of flowers from HVO’s gardens, learn the art of flower pressing, and take home your stunning creations. Spots are limited, so reserve your place here:

Come on out for Peach Days on August 17 & 18! Enjoy peach-themed treats all around the farm! Special Guests from The Peach Truck will be on site to make sure everyone can grab the last of that summer's golden peach goodness! More details found here:

Girls' Night Out will be happening on August 28. Join us for appetizers and drinks, a fun time with your girlfriends, and a night full of line dancing! It's sure to be a blast!

Finally, at the end of the month on August 31 (and Sept. 1), we’ll be diving into the fall season with our Apple Cider Days! Enjoy a new fall cocktail menu in the Crate Room and live music performances on both Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned for additional activities in the kids’ area! The HVOhio Beer Fest is just around the corner!

Come on out to Hidden Valley Orchards for one of our favorite events of the year: The HVOhio Beer Fest! Here you can try some fantastic local brews while also meeting the folks behind them. Not only are we going to have a great time, but we'll also be supporting a great cause! Our charity partner, Diabetes Dayton, will be running a silent auction during the event to support those affected by diabetes.

Bringing together the Centerville community for flavorful combinations of craft beer and artisan food, Loose Ends Brewing Company is on a mission to offer a unique experience through their diverse selections.

Crooked Handle passionately serves the Springboro community with their excellent food and drink, and is known as the city's first craft brewery!

Since 2013, MadTree has been crafting quality beer and bringing people together, all while partnering with local non-profits to protect nature, nurture the community, and reduce impact on the environment. 

Third Eye is an award-winning brewery offering a wide variety of options ranging from inspiring small batch experimental recipes to more traditional true-to-style lagers and ales.

Nestled on the very soil that once nourished Cincinnati’s most iconic breweries, Grainworks Brewing channels the rich tapestry of history into every drop they pour. Their beer is not just a beverage; it’s a heritage and a testament to the soul of brewing.

With as many as 20 in-house brewed beers and seltzers on tap, Municipal Brew Works have something for everyone. Located in Hamilton, the brewery has been supplying the community with their beer since 2016.

Sonder Brewing crafts high quality beer with a mix of story and community. Their team has over 40 years of craft brewing experience, with a passion for excellence and flavor that showcases throughout the Sonder beer lineup.

Local landmark and community hub, Cartridge Brewing is a 15 BBL brewery proudly serving award-winning craft beer alongside elevated pub fare, curated cocktails and wine from their full kitchen and bar.

Country Boy Brewing was founded in 2012 by four native Kentuckians with a passion for great craft beer. Country Boy prides itself on making minimally processed beers with high quality, real ingredients.

Since opening its doors in 2012, one thing has remained the same for Fifty West Brewing Company: every time you have a Fifty West beer, you know it was handmade in small batches with a focus on craftsmanship, tradition, innovation, and patience.

Established in 2017, Saucy Brew Works has been dedicated to putting both mind and heart into the brewing process, using the finest ingredients and employing state of the art techniques. The result is a selection of enjoyable, elegant and authentic craft beers across multiple locations in Ohio.

Fatheads Brewery is always perfecting the process. Their story started with their beer, and it continues that way each day. Every batch is thoughtfully brewed, carefully crafted, and thoroughly tested. Nothing leaves their brewery unless it's just right!

• 10 tickets for 3-ounce pours (Day of door price: $55)

Non-Beer Drinking Guests can join us for $30, which includes:

• Admission

• 4 tickets, which can be used 3 non-alcoholic beverages or mocktails

• A food ticket for 1 item at the event

Doggone Good Times

Hey y'all! Did you know you can share all the HVO fun with your furry friend? It's true! We've got plenty of walking space & the lawn ideal spot for leisurely lounging. We kindly request that all pets remain leashed throughout their visit, and we appreciate it if pet owners ensure the responsible disposal of any "presents" their furry friends might leave behind. Hehe!

But that's not all! In addition to the usual fun, we're thrilled to announce our upcoming Bark-O-Ween event, taking place on October 28th. It will be a fantastic time for the whole family. Food trucks will be on-site, along with various vendors to explore. And, of course, your furry friend will have the chance to indulge in some delightful trick-or-treating for milk bone treats!

Now, it's time to get creative and start planning your pet's costume because we will be hosting a dog costume parade. The parade promises loads of laughter and fun, and we'll even announce a winner at the end!

• From 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM: Join our Dog Trick-or-Treat activity around the farm.

• At 2:00 PM: The parade officially begins.

• The grand finale: The costume winner will be announced at the conclusion of the parade.

We can't wait to see you and your furry friends at Bark-O-Ween! It's going to be a howling good time. 🐾🎃🐶
