Hey y’all! Fall is here, and Hidden Valley Orchards is bursting with exciting activities and cozy experiences. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your fall visit!
Fall Features
Market
A visit to our historic barn market is a must! Inside, you'll find a range of fall delights including decorations, jams, jellies, local honey, pickles, caramel apples, apple cider, and a bakery counter featuring treats from talented local bakers.
Taprooms
Stop by The Crate Room and the Olde Grain Bin (OGB) to enjoy our fall-themed taps and signature "Croptails" (our fun name for cocktails). Try favorites like the Caramel Apple Mule, Cider Spritzer, and Buck's Bourbon Float!
Seasonal Celebrations
Our weekend events are free and open to all! Enjoy balloon artists and face painters, top your own caramel apple nachos, and savor bites from The Coop Snack Shack and Dayton BBQ. There’s live music and delicious bakery treats to explore. Check our event calendar for details and plan your visit!
Firepits
Relax by our cozy firepits, which are first-come, first-served. Bring your own firewood or use our donation-based supply. Popular spots fill up quickly, especially on evenings with live music, so arrive early and bring some lawn chairs since patio seating is limited. To reserve a firepit prior to busy evenings contact mary@hiddenvalleyorchards.com .
Workshops & Events
Join us for seasonal workshops and special events:
Cider
Sip on our apple cider in hot, chilled, or slushie form—perfect for any weather!
Hayrides
For just $5 per person, take a 15-minute hayride through our farm and visit the pumpkin patch! Hayrides run exclusively on Saturdays (10 AM - 4 PM) and Sundays (12 PM - 4 PM) starting September 14.
Pumpkin Patch
Our pumpkin patch is open during regular hours. It’s a bit of a hike if you visit outside hayride hours, but you can always bring your pumpkin into the market barn for checkout.
Apples to Apples: Creating Memories Among the Trees
Stroll through our orchards and enjoy the crisp autumn air and tranquil surroundings. While u-pick apples aren't available this year, the orchard is open for leisurely walks. Explore the apple and pear trees behind the OGB (Olde Grain Bin) and along the main path. Please exit the orchards by dusk for your safety.
U-Pack: Convenience Meets Variety
If you’re looking for apples, check out our U-Pack bins in or near the Market Barn. We source a variety of apples from local orchards, including:
Honey Crisp
Jonathan
Paula Red
