CUSTOMER CARE (MARKET)

HVO is in search of Staff to work in our market. This is a multifunctional position and the ideal candidate must love working in a busy environment, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with the general public.

 

Customer Care Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet customers courteously.

  • Provide excellent and prompt services to customers.

  • Ensure fast financial transactions to minimize long register lines. 

  • Adhere to store policies and procedures for operational efficiency.

  • Perform cash, card and check transactions for customer purchases.

  • Handle gift cards and coupons to customers when needed.

  • Handle cash register and manage incoming and outgoing cash.

  • Record financial transactions and perform account reconciliations.

  • Pack and bag products according to customer needs. 

  • Maintain store equipment such as computers, printers and fax machines in safe and good working conditions. 

  • Keep register terminal and store clean and orderly.

  • Stock and maintain the inventories according to store policies. 

  • Perform the ‘cash count-out’ after every shift. 

  • Guide customers to register lanes promptly and courteously.

  • Address all queries from both employees and customers.
